National Cycle Route 48 runs from Tetbury and Cirencester to Northleach, Moreton-in-Marsh and Southam. There you can join with Route 41, which takes you into Royal Leamington Spa. Warwickshire Council has produced maps between Moreton-in-Marsh and Shipston-on-Stour and then Shipston-on-Stour to Southam. This shorter section connects with National Cycle Route 5 between Honeybourne and Hanborough and showcases the beautiful Cotswold scenery at its best. The route travels past Shipston to the south (although still within easy reach), and links interesting villages and sites within the rolling landscape of the Cotswolds.  

Sustrans Route 5  is a long-distance route passing through both the beautiful British countryside and some of its historic towns and cities. It travels in sections from Reading to North Wales. Route 5 passes directly through the heart of Shipston en route to Stratford-upon-Avon and eventually as far as Holyhead in North Wales.
